We keep it simple here at the Decatur PTA. The PTA asks for your support once each fall → We all band together for our school → The PTA puts fundraised dollars toward supporting our teachers, providing enrichment opportunities within and beyond the school day, and building our community.
Our fundraising goal for this school year is $80,000. Please consider a donation of $500 per student. Please also know that gifts of all sizes help us reach our goal; we value your support at whatever amount works for your family.
We are seeking 100% participation in support of our Growing Gators Campaign – this can mean a financial contribution or noting your non-monetary support here.
When you make a gift to the Decatur PTA, you are giving to:
- Learning essentials, including classroom supplies, curriculum materials, and the flexibility to meet new teacher and staff requests as they arise.
- Enrichment beyond the classroom, including highly subsidized field trips (to Mount Rainier National Park, the state Capitol, Nature Bridge and more) and in-school opportunities, including assemblies from organizations like Seattle JazzED and Pacific Science Center.
- Community events like our Lunar New Year celebration, Bingo Night and Dance Party, occurring throughout the school year, where we celebrate cultural diversity and build connections.
- Staff appreciation opportunities, and more.
